Selection is in a workaholic mode for the past few weeks.With back to back
important news & releases, the latest is about the 3rd IBPS common
written examination for PO/ MT posts in public sector banks.The allotments
for the second edition were notified few months ago, based on which banks are
now recruiting for Probationary officer posts.
IBPS had been entrusted with the task of conducting, evaluating & publishing results for an all India common test to facilitate filling of bank jobs.
Applicants, willing to appear for Upcoming IBPS PO Exam, must satisfy the below mentioned Eligibility Conditions.
Age Limit : Min : 20 years and Max: 28 Years.
Note: For the First Time, Upper Age Limit in the IBPS PO Exam is revised and changed from Existing 30 years to 28 years. In the coming day, IBPS will face a lot criticism from decreasing the Upper age limit.
Educational Qualifications: Educational Qualification criteria also undergoes a change. Now, To appear in the IBPS PO Exam, you must have Passed Graduation with at least 60% marks.
Computer Literacy: Applicants must have working Knowledge of Computer and they have obtained the Diploma/Certificate in Computer Course, OR they have studied the computer as a subject in their Academic Classes.
Selection Process: The Selection Process for the Recruitment of Probationary Officers in participating banks, shall consists of Written Test (Online ) and then followed by Common Interview. Those students who score high marks in the Written Exam & Common Interview (Combined) will be allotted any one of the banks, through a computerized system.
Note: Another Important Change in the IBPS PO Exam 2013, that there is No Descriptive Paper (Only Objective Paper of 200 Marks)

order of preference among the participating 20 public sector banks or any other financial
institution.
Depending on the total no. of
vacancies to be published by IBPS for the year 2014 –15, govt. banks shall

Process:
The IBPS common exam 2013 for PO
jobs will be conducted online in the month of October.
- It shall contains objective type questions for a total
of 200 marks across 5 sections – Reasoning, English language,
Quantitative aptitude, General awareness & Computer knowledge.
- It is required for candidates to secure minimum
qualifying mark in each section & overall. These cutoff scores are to
be decided by IBPS depending on the performance of all applicants.
- For every wrong answer, negative mark of
0.25 would also be reduced.
Application
Fees: Applicants can pay the Fee the
Application cum Examination fees either through Online Mode OR Offline
Mode.The Details of Application fee is given as under
- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD
candidates.
