1. What is Customisation
?
Customization
is doing some modification over an existing Application of form as per the
client requirement.
2.What is Re-marketing
?
Remarketing
is the process of reselling end-of-life, surplus, or refurbished assets that
still have value through various national & international sales channels.
3.What is meant by Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) ?
Outsourcing is contracting with another company or person to do a
particular function. Almost every organization outsources in some way.
Typically, the function being outsourced is considered non-core to the
business. An insurance company, for example, might outsource its janitorial and
landscaping operations to firms that specialize in those types of work since
they are not related to insurance or strategic to the business. The outside
firms that are providing the outsourcing services are third-party providers, or
as they are more commonly called, service providers.
Take
another definition--- BPO is the act of transferring some of an organization's
repeated non-core and core business processes to an outside provider to achieve
cost reductions while improving service quality. Because the processes are
repeated and a long-term contract is used, outsourcing goes far beyond the use
of consultants.
4.What is Grey Market
?
A grey
market or gray market is the trade of a commodity through distribution channels
which, while legal, are unofficial, unauthorized, or unintended by the original
manufacturer. In contrast, a black market is the trade of goods and services
that are illegal in themselves and/or distributed through illegal channels.
The two
main types of grey market are imported manufactured goods that would be
normally unavailable or more expensive in a certain country and unissued
securities that are not yet traded in official markets
5.What is Micro marketing
?
Micromarketing is the practice of tailoring products, brands (micro
brands), and promotions to meet the needs and wants of microsegments within a
market. Micromarketing is all about digital content and innovative ways of
distributing it.
Micromarketing is the act of messaging to many individuals one at a time
based on their unique interests, as opposed to sending one general message. For
example sending an email about sweaters only to customers who have purchased the
matching pants last week.
Brand
Identity can be represented by a hexagonal prism with each side representing a
specific character of the brand. These specific characters help to understand
the perceptions of the brand in the consumer minds and at the market place.
Thus these help to build a better brand image and position the products at a
better level
7.What is Marketing Myopia
?
Narrow-minded approach to a marketing situation where only short-range
goals are considered or where the marketing focuses on only one aspect out of
many possible marketing attributes. Because of its shortsightedness, marketing
myopia is an inefficient marketing approach.
Short
sighted and inward looking approach to marekting that focuses on the needs of
the firm instead of defining the firm and its products in terms of the
customers' needs and wants. Such self-centered firms fail to see and adjust to
the rapid changes in their markets and, despite their previous eminence,
falter, fall, and disappear.
8. What is Counter Marketing
?
Efforts to
permanently reduce demand for a product or service that may reflect poorly on
the product itself, such as efforts by a group to discourage the use of a
product the group deems unhealthy or bad for society. It is unlike
de-marketing, in which one attempts to reduce demand without maligning the
product. Political advertising targeted toward supporters of the opposing
candidate uses counter-marketing to reduce demand for that candidate.
